Résumé

Research and development are critical topics in the context of the current economic crisis. From this perspective, one of the challenging purposes is to raise awareness of the importance of R&D as key factors for growth, social and economic stability in the contemporary world. During the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, the major goal in all fields is to underline the strong links between science and society in order to make development, research and innovation indispensable for sustainability and competitiveness. In this context, the International Conference on R&D Perspectives. Promoting Innovation through Education, Culture and Communication seeks to provide an international forum for the presentation of new research results and problems related to these topics. All scholars, researchers, policy makers and advisers with an interest in these explosive fields are invited to exchange ideas and approaches. Their contributions can be in the form of: theoretical presentation adding new insights to the debate in the literature; original empirical research; case studies.

Faculty of Communication and Public Relations (FCRP), Bucharest, Romania in cooperation with Fulbright Commission Romania invites you to attend the International Conference on R&D Perspectives. Promoting Innovation through Education, Culture and Communication, November 6-7, 2009, Bucharest.

Goal

Research and development are critical topics in the context of the current economic crisis. From this perspective, one of the challenging purposes is to raise awareness of the importance of R&D as key factors for growth, social and economic stability in the contemporary world. During the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, the major goal in all fields is to underline the strong links between science and society in order to make development, research and innovation indispensable for sustainability and competitiveness. In this context, the International Conference on R&D Perspectives. Promoting Innovation through Education, Culture and Communication seeks to provide an international forum for the presentation of new research results and problems related to these topics. All scholars, researchers, policy makers and advisers with an interest in these explosive fields are invited to exchange ideas and approaches. Their contributions can be in the form of:

Important Deadlines

  • April 19, 2009: abstract submission;
  • April 30, 2009: abstract acceptance (notification of authors);
  • July 1, 2009: full paper submission;
  • July 30, 2009: full paper acceptance (notification of authors).

Abstracts

The abstracts (max. 200 words followed by 3-5 keywords) will be submitted for review in electronic MS Word format. Please provide the full names, affiliations, mailing addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses of all authors, indicating the contact author. There will be accepted only one paper for each participant as a first author. Abstracts will be submitted online to the following e-mail address: conference@comunicare.ro. Th official languages of the conference are English and French.

The accepted papers will be published in the conference volume (a special issue of a CNCSIS B+ Journal indexed in International Scientific Data Bases).

The authors will receive confirmation via email.

Guidelines for paper submission will be available on the conference website.

Conference fee

Conference fee is 100 euro/ participant and it includes: conference papers volume, conference program and conference banquet. For PhD and MA candidates the conference fee is 50 euro/ participant.
