Résumé

L’École européenne de protohistoire de Bibracte « EEPB » est le fruit d’une coopération entre Bibracte EPCC, établissement gestionnaire du site archéologique du même nom, l’École pratique de hautes études (EPHE), l’Université de Bourgogne et l’Université Eötvös Lórand de Budapest. Elle a pour but de favoriser la mise en réseau des enseignements spécialisés en Protohistoire récente en Europe. Elle organise notamment à cet effet des sessions périodiques de séminaires doctoraux thématiques intensifs et propose sa première bourse post-doctorale. / The Bibracte European School of Protohistory (EEPB) is a collaboration between Bibracte EPCC, which manages the archaeological site of the same name, the École Pratique des Hautes Études (EPHE), the University of Burgundy and Eötvös Lórand University in Budapest. The School aims to encourage the networking of specialised teaching on recent protohistory in Europe. To this end, the EEPB organises periodic sessions of themed intensive doctoral seminars and is now launching its first post-doctoral grant.

Grâce au soutien du Conseil Régional de Bourgogne, l’École Européenne de Protohistoire de Bibracte propose une bourse post doctorale d’un an à partir du 1er octobre 2011 sur le thème suivant :

Les cultures protohistoriques d'Europe occidentale au premier millénaire avant J.-C., de la fin de l'Âge du Bronze à la romanisation. Les aspects thématiques seront privilégiés par rapport aux recherches chronologiques ou géographiques. Le postulant s'efforcera d'offrir des regards croisés entre plusieurs disciplines, aires culturelles ou époques sur un même thème.

Le lieu de séjour du post-doc est Bibracte ou Dijon en Bourgogne. La bourse est attribuée par l’université de Bourgogne, co-fondatrice du projet. Le laboratoire de rattachement est ARTeHIS, UMR 5594. La rémunération est d'environ 2000 euros net / mois.

Les candidatures devront comporter :

  • une lettre de motivation,
  • un CV où les connaissances linguistiques seront indiquées
  • la liste des publications et travaux,
  • le projet de recherche et son adéquation avec les compétences et les données disponibles.

Le jury sera composé d’un représentant de  la Région Bourgogne et des quatre établissements fondateurs, du directeur d’ARTeHIS et de deux personnalités qualifiées.

With the support of the Conseil Régional de Bourgogne, the Bibracte European School of Protohistory offers a one-year post-doctoral grant from 1st October 2011, on the following topic:

The protohistory of Western Europe during the first millennium BC, from the end of the Bronze Age to the start of the Roman period. Preference will be given to thematic topics rather than chronologically or geographically-specific research. The applicant should endeavour to develop an approach bridging between different disciplines, cultural areas or periods for their chosen topic.

The post-doc will be based at either Bibracte or Dijon, in Burgundy. The grant will be paid by the University of Burgundy, co-founder of the project. The successful applicant will belong to the ARTeHIS, UMR 5594 laboratory (approwimately 2000 euros net / month).

Applications should include:

  • a covering  letter,
  • a curriculum vitae indicating linguistic abilities,
  • a list of publications and articles,
  • an outline of the proposed research project, including its scope, feasibility, and the availability of suitable data.

The selection panel will consist of representatives of the Burgundy Regional Council and the four EEPB partner institutions, the Director of ARTeHIS and two suitably qualified external referees.

Applications must be submitted by midnight on 30th June 2011 at the latest.
