Zusammenfassung

Arabian Humanities is an International Journal of Archaeology and Social Sciences focusing on the Arabian Peninsula. It is the continuation of the Chroniques Yéménites, which was the first peer-reviewed academic journal on Yemen, the Arabian Peninsula and the Horn of Africa published by the CEFAS between 1993 and 2011. Its editorial board is calling for papers for the Free article Section of the 2nd issue of the journal, devoted to Towns and urbanization in the contemporary Arabian Peninsula and scheduled for Autumn 2013.

Arabian Humanities is an international, biannual and thematic journal devoted to the Arabian Peninsula. It is open access online and publishes articles submitted in English, but also in Arabic and French (the articles are not translated). It combines articles selected for each special issue, free articles and book reviews. The disciplines are Archaeology, Islamic History, Modern and Contemporary History, Anthropology, Sociology, Linguistics, Literature, Political Sciences, Urban Studies and Geography.

Submission

Each article will be submitted to the most appropriate editor of the journal, who will then submit anonymously the article to two external referees on the Editorial Board.

The articles – no longer than 8,000 words - are to be sent to Juliette Honvault (jhonvault@yahoo.fr) et Sylvaine Giraud (edition@cefas.com.ye)

before 1st November 2012
