L'objectif de ce congrès est de faire l'état des lieux des recherches et débats en cours dans le domaine des études asiatiques, encourager les échanges transdisciplinaires et transculturels et favoriser les collaborations internationales.

This international Conference aims to present the latest research and current debates within the field of Asian studies, to promote transdisciplinary and transcultural exchanges, and to foster international collaborations.

Présentation

L'objectif de ce congrès est de faire l'état des lieux des recherches et débats en cours dans le domaine des études asiatiques, encourager les échanges transdisciplinaires et transculturels et favoriser les collaborations internationales.

Ateliers

Les ateliers devront comprendre entre 3 et 6 intervenants (les sujets sont libres).

Une attention particulière sera accordée aux propositions des doctorants et post-doctorants [1].

Le comité scientifique privilégiera les trois types d’ateliers suivants :

• les ateliers associant des intervenants spécialistes de différentes aires culturelles et/ou disciplines
• les ateliers formés autour de la présentation d’un ouvrage collectif ou d’un numéro spécial de revue consacré à l’Asie, publié depuis octobre 2015 ou à paraître
• les ateliers qui présenteront des résultats de recherches financés au niveau national ou international (ANR, H2020, JSPS, …). Un même projet de recherche pourra donner lieu à plusieurs propositions d’ateliers.

Langues : Français et/ou anglais.

Conditions de soumisssion

En ligne uniquement [2], sur le site du congrès (http://congresasie2017.sciencesconf.org). Les coordinateurs devront d’abord soumettre le titre, le résumé de l’atelier (300 mots maximum, en français et en anglais), les mots-clés et la liste des intervenants. Puis, chaque intervenant devra indiquer le titre et le résumé de sa communication (200 mots maximum, en français et en anglais). Ces deux étapes devront être terminées

au plus tard le 31 octobre 2016.

Il n’y aura pas de publication d’actes, mais le comité scientifique souhaite encourager la publication de numéros spéciaux en invitant des rédacteurs en chef de revues au congrès.

[1] Les étudiants de master ne pourront pas intervenir dans un panel.

[2] Quelques propositions individuelles de communication pourront être examinées par le comité scientifique (à soumettre par courriel à communication@gis-reseau-asie.org).

 Le congrès est ouvert à tous (chercheurs, enseignants-chercheurs, doctorants, étudiants et autres personnes intéressées par les études asiatiques) sur inscription.

• Coordinateurs et intervenants : 80 € TTC (30 € TTC pour les étudiants).
• Ce tarif inclut l’accès au congrès, les déjeuners et les pauses café.
• Autres participants : le tarif sera communiqué ultérieurement.

Presentation

This international Conference aims to present the latest research and current debates within the field of Asian studies, to promote transdisciplinary and transcultural exchanges, and to foster international collaborations.

Panels

Each panel will consist of 3 to 6 speakers (topics are unrestricted).

Participation of PhD students and postdocs is highly encouraged1.

The following three types of panels will be considered:

• Panels organized under a common topic, with speakers, preferably from more than one country, specialized in different areas or disciplines
• Panels on a co-authored book or a special issue of journal dedicated to Asia, published after October 2015 or forthcoming
• Panels on existing research projects (for instance ANR, H2020, JSPS… funded projects). Several panels can be organized for a given research project.

Languages: English and/or French.

There will be no proceedings of this conference, but the Scientific Committee will encourage the publication of special issues by inviting journal editors to the conference.

How to submit a proposal?

Proposals must be submitted online on the conference website (http://congresasie2017.sciencesconf.org), first by coordinators of the panel and then by each speaker participating in the panel,

by 31 October 2016 [2].

Coordinators need to submit: title and summary of the panel (max. 300 words), keywords, list of speakers.

Speakers need to submit: title and abstract of their presentation (max. 200 words).

[1] Speakers must be at least PhD students.

[2] Some individual presentation proposals may be considered. Please submit only by email: communication@gis-reseau-asie.org, with the same information indicated above.

Conference registration is open to all (researchers, students and anyone interested in Asian studies).

Registration fees

For panel coordinators or speakers: 80 €, (30 € for students).

This fee includes access to the conference, lunches and coffee breaks.
