Opportunities, limits and interpretation of the night from the Antiquity to the contemporary age
Everything about darkness differs according to a wide range of factors including historical age, society, gender, social class, occupations. In this sense, we mean everything that fills the night with life, from the economic, political, social, cultural and religious activities of human beings to the behavior of animals, anything that stimulates the senses, from shadows, street lighting, stars, nocturnal plant and animal life to human bodies shrouded in darkness. In short, everything that humans experience during the night, from everyday life to the parallel world of dreams or the unwelcome visitation of ghosts to pirate attacks. The purpose of the Student Conference is to analyze the night from a broad historical perspective, starting from the state of the art on the subject and arriving at new declinations of the night and its importance for human activities in the past.

L’utilisation publique des écritures ordinaires à l’époque moderne et contemporaine
Nous vous invitons à proposer des contributions consacrées aux dynamiques de re-signification des écritures ordinaires dans l’espace public à l’époque moderne et contemporaine. Les écritures ordinaires produites par des acteurs subalternes (classes populaires, hommes et femmes, enfance) dans le passage du privé au public devront donc être investiguées, en portant une attention particulière aux espaces utilisés, aux pratiques adoptées, aux stratégies de visibilité (ou d’obscurcissement) choisies, les appropriations de la société civile, les politiques de conservation de la mémoire populaire ou l’utilisation pédagogique et didactique des écritures.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the international online seminar “Quel corpo che (non) siamo”, organised by the young researchers of the Fonds Ricœur in Paris. Each session will be focused on the topic of the body, through the consideration of Paul Ricoeur's thought and from the perspective of other contemporary thinkers (e.g. Merleau-Ponty, Heidegger, Derrida, Henry, Levinas, Richir, Levi Moreno, Marcel, Waldenfels, Plessner, Simondon, Dufrenne...).

Obwohl Liebermann die Niederlande als sein „Adoptivvaterland“ bezeichnete und oft dorthin reiste, spielte auch Italien eine wichtige Rolle für seine künstlerische Entwicklung. Zwischen 1878 und 1913 unternahm der Maler mindestens sechs Reisen dorthin, knüpfte Kontakte zu italienischen Kunstschaffenden und Kritikern und beteiligte sich an internationalen Kunstaustellungen. Außerdem fanden seine Werke Eingang in italienische Sammlungen. Diese wissenschaftliche Konferenz utersucht die deutsch-italienische künstlerische Mobilität der 1860er bis 1930er Jahre. Von der monografischen Liebermann-Ausstellung ausgehend, soll im Rahmen der Konferenz der Blick auf den deutsch-italienischen Kulturaustausch am Beispiel von Liebermann und anderen zeitgenössischen Persönlichkeiten gerichtet werden.

Sociologia, semiotica e arte negli immaginari e nelle rappresentazioni
This three-day international conference, organized in mixed mode at the University of Palermo and sponsored by the Dipartment "Cultures and Society" and the ADILLI, intends to adress the ways in which reality is represented and mediated today through digital technologies and creative approaches to the arts, both of those belonging to the more traditional classifications and of the more recent ones, and how the different narratives of today's contexts are “brought to the stage” by them. The interpretation of the theme, given its complexity and vastness, will be interdisciplinary and will have a dissemination approach, to allow for as broad a dialogue as possible between the partecipants and the public, in a spirit of research and sharing.

Si le premier numéro de la revue InterArtes traitait de la perméabilité des frontières - signe d’actualité - comme condition qui valide une esthétique de l’hybride, ce deuxième numéro entend se demander comment ce processus d’hybridation de genres, de contenus, de thèmes, styles et langages peuvent changer la nature et la structure du texte, quel est le produit final né de cette interaction et si plusieurs niveaux de lecture peuvent réellement en découler, générés par la présence de différents moyens d’expression. À nouveau, dans ce deuxième numéro, InterArtes ouvre la possibilité d’assumer un point de vue ontologique ou une perspective pragmatique ou analytique, dans le but ultime d’explorer un champ d’investigation qui continue d’offrir des perspectives d’expansion.

Turpin et l’épopée carolingienne : croisements de cultures
Le colloque s’articulera autour de deux axes : la question de l’intertextualité, particulièrement accentuée dans la tradition de l’Historia Turpini, et l’imbrication des cultures, qui voit dans la tradition carolingienne un terrain privilégié de confrontation. À côté de problèmes d’ordre ecdotique, la réflexion touchera aux thèmes suivants : la contamination des traditions littéraires et des cultures, les personnages et les lieux, l’iconographie, les croisements entre l’épopée carolingienne et les pélerinages, les manières dont la matière a été remaniée au fil du temps.

Negazione di un genere, genere della negazione
Summer School Non Fiction
Nella produzione letteraria mondiale si apprezza, da alcuni decenni, la proliferazione di forme di scrittura non finzionale (non fiction novel, docufiction, faction ecc.). La tensione tra realtà e finzione caratterizza da sempre la creazione letteraria, tuttavia il fenomeno è andato incontro di recente a una consacrazione ufficiale con l’assegnazione del premio Nobel per la letteratura alla giornalista Svetlana Aleksievitch. La crescente “fame” di realtà discende da una saturazione dell’immaginario finzionale o, invece, finisce per produrre nuove forme di fiction basate sulla rielaborazione di dati di realtà (documenti storici, cronache, atti giudiziari ecc.)? Una simile domanda investe oggi una serie di questioni teoriche – sociali, cognitive, antropologiche e politiche – prima fra tutte quella sulla delimitazione tra vero, falso e fittizio nell’epoca delle fake news.

La linguistica forense tra le scienze cognitive: team e modelli d'indagine
II convegno nazionale di linguistica forense
The second Italian conference of forensic linguistics has as its objective the presentation of forensic linguistics as a sector of applied linguistics, whose scientific nature is supported by a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach of the cognitive sciences that revolve around human language. We will then go on to analyze the value of linguistic evidence in the forensic field, within the current Italian jurisprudence. Through examples and contextualizations, the multidisciplinary team at the base of the working group "Forensix Hub Italia", spinoff of the “Società Italiana di Linguistica Forense”, will be presented. The works are sponsored by the research institute "Lo Stilo di Fileta", teaching center of the eCampus University. The researches presented in this conference were carried out in partnership with the Applied Linguistics Pole, also inside "Lo Stilo di Fileta"

Cet appel invite à proposer des communications qui explorent l’écriture et la poétique de Biamonti en posant l’accent sur les rapports entre l’œuvre de l’écrivain ligurien et celles d’autres auteur-e-s qu’il appréciait, c’est-à-dire non seulement d’autres narrateurs-trices mais encore des poètes, des philosophes, des artistes et théoricien-ne-s. Toute analyse des liens entre biographie et textes sera la bienvenue, que ce soit du point de vue d’une approche ample ou de la dimension intertextuelle, afin de tracer un dessin aussi global que possible des voix et des présences qui habitent les écrits de cet auteur.

VII giornata di studi dottorali del Rome Art History Network (RAHN)
Il tema delle fake news è di grande attualità e rilevanza per i mezzi e i fini con cui queste vengono messe in circolazione: esse hanno il potere di alterare la realtà e diffondere notizie prive di fondamento. Invero, la manipolazione delle notizie e delle immagini è sempre stata presente nelle discipline umanistiche, mossa da intenti encomiastici, sociologici o politici. La giornata dottorale del 2019 vuole indagare la modalità in cui l’alterazione del messaggio è stata assunta come verità nella storia dell’arte. Si intende analizzare l’iter del processo artistico e la conseguente creazione delle fake news: così, dall’idea della committenza si passa all’elaborazione dell’artista fino ad arrivare alla ricezione del pubblico. L’oggetto artistico diventa, dunque, veicolo di una realtà alterata. Spaziando dall’antichità al contemporaneo, il convegno vuole mettere in risalto le diverse metodologie impiegate dai dottorandi per delegittimare le fake news nella storia dell’arte.
