  We would like to invite you to participate and contribute to the Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Healthcare: Modes, Practices and Challenges. This workshop thus looks to gather researchers -from a range of disciplines that converge and intersect in this framework- designers as well as clinical  practitioners to discuss the most pressing topics and develop a truly multi-disciplinary community capable of addressing the challenges posed by these technologies.

  L’écran pour saisir le sensible ?

  Après deux premières éditions consacrées à la constitution des données de la recherche (2021) et à leurs soubassements éthiques (2022), le projet EVEille souhaite explorer la place de la sensorialité dans la représentation numérique, en questionnant la participation des cinq sens dans le traitement et la transmission des corpus scientifiques et objets culturels. Alors que le champ muséographique a depuis longtemps investi les dispositifs numériques en vue de la valorisation patrimoniale, les sciences humaines ne se sont saisies que récemment de la question dans la conduite des projets de recherche.

  The Many Lives of Europe's Audiovisual Heritage Online

  During the past decade, a massive body of European audiovisual heritage has become accessible online: on video sharing sites and websites of archives, or through initiatives such as EUscreen.eu and Europeana.eu. Once online, audiovisual heritage circulates in diverse ways: users watch, share, like, or dislike it; they comment, appropriate, and download videos for remix and recirculation. It thus becomes part of the popular consumption of history, potentially creating new interpretations of heritage materials, challenging authorised perspectives. Heritage institutions perceive the consequences of the recent technological transformations of the sector as a major challenge and opportunity.

  The use of minted coins was one of the major innovations in the ancient world of the first millennium BCE. Invented in Lydia in the seventh century, coinage spread rapidly throughout the Greek world, first in the Greek cities in Asia Minor, next to Aegina and Athens and soon to the other cities across the Aegean and Mediterranean area. Before the introduction of minted coins, exchange was largely based on weights of precious metals, in smaller amounts weighed on scales, a practice to which striking fixed weights of metal seems just a small and logical step. Yet the swift success of coinage, evidenced by rapidly increasing number of Greek poleis adopting the new medium, shows that the potential of coins to surpass weighed bullion in practical use for all kinds of transactions was recognised early on.

  Lors des sessions du séminaire francophone à Toulouse en 2015, l’originalité des pratiques et des théories francophones a été mise en relief à travers des débats sur les conséquences de la diversité des langues en administration publique, et des contributions sur les spécificités doctrinales, théoriques et empiriques de la science administrative francophone. Ces expériences nous amènent à développer le programme de recherche 2015-2018 du séminaire francophone afin d’approfondir les travaux entamés et d’encourager d’autres chercheurs à y contribuer.

  Standardizing Psychoactive Drugs And Drug Uses. 1900-1970

  Psychoactive drugs and drug treatments, within psychiatry, as well as those that have entered the public domain, have begun increasingly to attract the interest of historical researchers. An aspect of this research is the search for generalized concepts that can be used to understand the dynamics of the life-cycles of drugs. One such concept, and the focus of a new research program, sponsored by the European Science Foundation, is that of 'standardization'.
