The Generative Web: GenAI as Interface, Infrastructure, and Ecosystem
Le web génératif : l’intelligence artificielle (IA) générative comme interface, infrastructure et écosystème
Abstract
Web Studies 5 (WS.5) invites contributions examining GenAI as an interface to the Web (prompting, conversational search), a layer of infrastructure, and mode of production (synthetic media, automated web generation, creative and design practices). WS.5 calls for contributions that interrogate the relationships between generative AI and the Web, how this relationship is transforming the ways we access, produce, create, preserve, and value information.
