The Centre for the History of the Emotions at Queen Mary, University of London is pleased to invite applications for a Ph.D studentship funded by our recent Wellcome Trust Enhancement Award. Please see our website for details:  http://www.qmul.ac.uk/emotions

The award will cover research under the broad heading of 'Medicine. Emotion and Disease' and the project can be supervised by any member of the centre steering group.

The studentship will cover tuition fees at Home/EU level and an annual stipend in the first year and thereafter for three years in total.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to contact Dr Thomas Dixon (email: t.m.dixon@qmul.ac.uk) or Dr Rhodri Hayward (r.hayward@qmul.ac.uk) before completing their full application.

Closing date for applications is Friday, 3 July 2009.
