Announcement
Un séminaire sur les Etats-Unis aura lieu le jeudi 15 mai, de 17h à 19h, au Centre d’études et de recherches internationales (CERI), 56 rue Jacob, salle du RDC. L’intervenant est Peter Schuck (Yale Law School). Sa communication est intitulée « Understanding America : A New Synthesis ». Il présentera l’ouvrage collectif qu’il a dirigé avec James Q. Wilson, Understanding America : The Anatomy of an Exceptional Nation (New York, Public Affairs, 2008 ; voir http://www.publicaffairsbooks.com/publicaffairsbooks-cgi-bin/display ?book=9781586485610&view=extras). La discussion sera introduite par Daniel Sabbagh (CERI-Sciences Po).
Les intervenants s’exprimeront en anglais. Le séminaire est ouvert à tous. Il est organisé dans le cadre du RESSAC (Recherches et Etudes sur la Société Américaine Contemporaine) et de "Transétatiques", deux groupe de recherches du CERI.
