Abstract
The journal Revue Tiers Monde publishes outcomes of research on development studies. Theoretical views and case studies are published within special editions or along with diverse papers, spontaneously submitted to the Editorial board (section "Varia"). We are calling for this last type of papers. There is no specified theme, except that the articles must study development matters.

Introducing the journal Revue Tiers Monde
This journal publishes the results of research on development. Interdisciplinary and international, with articles on economics, sociology, and other social science disciplines, it constitutes an essential tool for reflection and for analysis in the increasingly crucial area of global change.
Call for papers
We are calling for spontaneous papers. There is no specified theme, except that the articles must study development matters.
All subjects are welcome : economics, sociology, anthropology, history, geography, architecture, medicine, demography, agronomics, education, law, international relations, gepolitics, communication, tourism, political sciences, philosophy, etc.
Guidelines for authors
Layout
-The article must be typed with a double spacing, and cannot be longer than 7,000 words (footnotes included);
- Bibliographic references have to be:
1/ announced in the text, between brackets (Name of the author, year)
2/ developed and sorted in alphabetical order at the end of the article as follow:
Name F., year, Title, Location, Publisher.
Name F., year, “Title”, in Name F. and Name F., Title, Location, Publisher.
Name F., year, “Title of the article”, Journal, n° X, pp. X-Y.
3/ this list is limited to the references announced in the text.
- Footnotes are inserted at the bottom of every page, with following numbers.
Sending your paper to the Editorial Board
1 electronic copy (Word) of your manuscript is to be sent to the board with the full contact details of the author(s) (e-mail address, phone number, postal address).
We also need:
- the title in English and in French
- abstracts in English and in French (no longer than 145 words each)
- 4 or 5 keywords in English and in French
- the institution(s) where the author(s) is/are working, the main subjects of research, the status of the author(s).

Illustrations and figures
- tables and charts are to be inserted directly in Word or sent separately and announced in the text. Please, avoid Excel. Please, formate as little as possible;
- graphs, maps and pictures are to be sent separately and announced in the text. Please, use .tif or .jpg AND save in 300dpi (not less, not more).
