La British Society for the History of Science (BSHS) finance annuellement une conférence en histoire des sciences, des techniques et de la médecine. Jusqu’à présent, cet événement a eu lieu dans une université du Royaume-Uni. Pour la première fois dans l’histoire de la BSHS, l’édition 2017 aura lieu en dehors des frontières britanniques, à l’Institut universitaire européen, Florence, en collaboration également avec le Centre Alexandre Koyré, Paris.

Presentation 

As the 2017 conveyor of the annual BSHS Postgraduate Conference, the EUI History of Science Working Group invites postgraduates to submit proposals for talks relating to topics concerned with the history of science, medicine, and technology. This conference is made by postgraduates for postgraduates, with the generous support of the BSHS, the EUI, and the CAK.

Submission guidelines 

Places are limited. We invite abstracts for 15-20 minute papers, which will be arranged in concurrent panels. 

Please submit abstracts (max. 250 words) including your name, the title, a brief description of your academic affiliation and contact details in one pdf file to bshs.pg.eui2017@gmail.com,

by 15 November 2016.
