The Conference provides an opportunity to tackle the current issues in education. For decades, education has been facing challenges and has gone thought various changes: reshaping the aims and goals of education; curriculum design and reduction; catching up with ICT developments; formulating learning outcomes; questioning the basic values in society and school.

The goal of the Conference is to foster new approaches to the main didactic challenges and propose new solutions through discussion and scientific research. The intension is to deal with the topics that are important for instruction (e.g. teacher-student relation, autonomy, individualisation, language and identity, school culture, media, curriculum, parents and their SE status, teacher and teacher's accountability, professionalisation, teaching aids, student/teacher assessment, methodology, competences, etc.).
