Abstract
Forum Sociológico is a semi-annual scientific journal, published by the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences of Nova University Lisbon, operating in the field of social sciences. Its mission is to publish original, theoretical and empirical articles that contribute to produce knowledge and critical and in-depth reflection about contemporary societies. Privileging the sociological perspective, the journal adopts the interdisciplinary vision that characterizes the social sciences and proposes to give visibility to the results of research carried out in any geographical context and to reflect on theoretical paradigms, opening space for debate and confrontation of perspectives.

Forum Sociológico is a semi-annual scientific journal, published by the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences of Nova University Lisbon, operating in the field of social sciences. Its mission is to publish original, theoretical and empirical articles that contribute to produce knowledge and critical and in-depth reflection about contemporary societies. Privileging the sociological perspective, the journal adopts the interdisciplinary vision that characterizes the Social Sciences and proposes to give visibility to the results of research carried out in any geographical context and to reflect on theoretical paradigms, opening space for debate and confrontation of perspectives. In this sense, the journal intends to establish itself as a permanent forum for discussion, debate and reflection on contemporary societies, producing scientific and critical thinking.
Journal Forum Sociológico invites to submit original articles to be published. Proposals may focus on various themes within the Social Sciences. The journal also accepts proposals of interviews and book reviews of relevant works.
The journal is published in full open access and is present in DOAJ, SciELO/Portugal, OpenEditionJournals, Latindex, ERIH PLUS, MIAR, DRJI, CLassifICS, CIRC, CAPES/Brazil and SHERPA/RoMEO.
Evaluation's process
All articles will be submitted to a peer-review process and at least to two experts of recognized merit with bilateral anonymity.

Proposals of articles and special issues should be sent to the following email : forum@fcsh.unl.pt.
Papers can be written in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French.
