Abstract
The sixth Claude and Réa Simon prize will be granted on february 2025. Granted every two years, the Claude and Réa Simon Prize aims at encouraging young researchers to study Claude Simon's œuvre. Submited articles must be devoted entirely or in large part to the work of Claude Simon. Comparative studies are not excluded.

Objet of the prize
The sixth Claude and Réa Simon prize will be granted on february 2025.
Granted every two years, the Claude and Réa Simon Prize aims at encouraging young researchers to study Claude Simon's œuvre. Submited articles must be devoted entirely or in large part to the work of Claude Simon. Comparative studies are not excluded.
Rewarding researchers for the quality and the inovative dimension of their articles, the Prize awards the winner with:
- 1000 euros,
- the two volumes of Claude Simon's selected works, published by Gallimard in the Pléiade collection,
- an invitation to present the winning article at the seminar of the Association des Lecteurs de Claude Simon,
- and the publication of the winning article in the Cahiers Claude Simon.
Recommendations and obligations
- The article must be devoted entirely or in large part to the work of Claude Simon. Comparative studies are not excluded.
- The text must take the form of an unpublished article and not the chapter of a dissertation or thesis, even if that is how it originated.
- The article can be written in or translated into French or English.– Quotations in French must be given in their original language.
- Any articles exceeding 35000 characters (excluding the bibliography) will not be taken into account.
- Neither the name of a university nor the candidate’s name should appear on the article.
- The pages must be numbered.
- The name of the Prize winner will be announced by the Association of Readers of Claude Simon.
- Candidates must not enter into communication with members of the Awarding Panel.

The deadline for article submission is December 1st 2024.
