Announcement

The Esclavages & Post~esclavages / Slaveries & Post~Slaveries journal invites scholars from all disciplines to submit original and previously unpublished articles for its “Varias” section. Articles should focus on recent or ongoing research conducted by individuals or groups.

Supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Division of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and led by the International Center for Research on Slavery and Post-Slavery (CIRESC-PHEEAC UMR 8053), this e-journal is a bi-annual, multilingual, multidisciplinary publication aimed at both the scientific community and the general public. It explores the specificities of slavery and post-slavery situations around the world spanning from antiquity to the present day. Its open access publication on the OpenEdition Journals platform ensures international visibility.

The articles, which must not exceed 45,000 characters including spaces and must be written in one of the four languages of the journal (French, English, Spanish or Portuguese), can be submitted by e-mail to the following address: ciresc.redaction@cnrs.fr.

Upon reception, the proposal will be reviewed by the members of the Editorial Board and, if accepted, will be subjected to a double-blind peer review. Recommendations for authors are available online: https://journals.openedition.org/slaveries/312
