Presentation

Political Orbits Journal (P.O.J) is now inviting the scholarly community - at both national and international levels - to submit their unpublished papers for publication. After the review process is accomplished, the accepted papers will be published at best on december 31st, 2024 (Volume 8 Issue 2)

The main objective of Political Orbits Journal is to contribute significantly to the body of knowledge by providing an intellectual platform for national and international scholars including postgraduate students, professors, and researchers operating in academic circles, government departments or socio-economic institutions.

To promote interdisciplinary studies in humanities, languages and social science, Political Orbits Journal is committed to publish biannually in a variety of languages including Arabic, English, and French, covering both theoretical and empirical topics in fields such as political science and the related social sciences, including, among others, international relations, research on security, development, sociology, contemporary political history, and history of international relations, International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights, Diplomatic Law, and Social Media Related to Community Security, Communication Studies,  History, Media Studies, Sociology,  Women Studies, and so on.

Political Orbits Journal [e-ISSN: 2710-8341; p-ISSN: 2588-1825], is an Open-Access Peer-Reviewed International Journal, Political Orbits Journal is a biannual published twice a year (June and December) by the Knowledge Orbits Center for Research and Policy Dimensions, Algeria since 2017

How to submit ?

5. Authors need to register with ASJP (Algerian Scientific Journal platform) prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in.

Deadline for submission: 30/11/2024

Everyone is requested to review all documents related to the publication in the journal, so the author must download the journal template form, in which there is a publication instruction file (author's guide). In this guide, the approved form in the journal is illustrated for the authors when copying and pasting their articles, regarding fonts and margins.

The journal’s editorial board informs all authors that sending the undertaking is required immediately after accepting the article for publication, and no article can be published without it. Therefore, it must be downloaded from the platform and sent to the email address of the journal (madarate.politique@gmail.com).

To speed up the publication of articles in the “Political Orbits  Journal”, we invite authors to use the Journal template, A template for authors is available in the  “instructions for author” section to insert their articles. Authors can download the template from the  “Instructions for author” section.

Then click “Instructions for author “on the left side of the screen.

See the Author's Manual File: By clicking on the "Author's Guide" icon, a zip file is uploaded. This is a guide to the author of the article explaining the process of sending the article. It  also includes the copyright of the Journal and includes a letter of undertaking to which the author of the article explains that the intellectual property belongs to the Journal only.

Send the article: After preparing the article according to the template of the Journal that was  downloaded, and see the author's guide, the “Send Article” icon is clicked. An application form containing the various data for the article and authors appears: Language of the article, Paper title,  Abstract, Keywords, Full name for author, Institution, Email, (A second author can be added), Proposal of reviewers, After filling out all the data and uploading the article file on the platform, nclicked the "Send Article" icon at the bottom of the information form.

Evaluation

1. First step

Examine the article secretly at the level of the reading committee of the Journal,  which meets regularly and intervenes in the pre-evaluation stage. The committee takes a decision to  qualify the articles before sending them to the assistant editors. If the decision is negative, the  article will be rejected on the platform and informed the author the reason for the rejection. The  author can resubmit it taking into account the recommendations made.

2. Second step

In the event that the article is eligible for the evaluation (prepared according to the journal template and under the terms of publication), it will be sent in an encrypted state to the Specialist Associate Editor, who in turn will submit it to two reviewers on its network. The  reviewers will be responsible for judging the paper according to a standardized evaluation form available on the ASJP platform.

Period of Evaluation of Articles

A 30-day evaluation period is provided, but reviewers take an average of two months to send evaluation results to the journal secretariat.

Status of Articles Evaluation: When the draft article receives a positive opinion and another

negative, a third assessment is requested from another reviewer, taking into account its origin,

nationally or internationally.
