Abstract
This call of Rassegna di Studi e di Notizie invites submissions of original contributions that should focus on the Castello Sforzesco (Milan) or works from its collections.

Presentation
Founded in 1973, Rassegna di Studi e di Notizie is the journal of the museums and institutes housed in the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, namely the Museum of Ancient Art, the Pinacoteca, the Museums of Decorative Arts and of the Musical Instruments, the Numismatic and Medal Cabinet, the Drawings Cabinet, the “Achille Bertarelli” Print Collection, the Photographic Archive.
This call invites submissions of original contributions that should focus on the Castello Sforzesco itself or works from its collections. Submissions should analyze and discuss one or more objects within the museums or institutes, placing them in broader context when possible. Topics may include authorship, attribution, iconography, or conservation and restoration.
Submission Guidelines
Proposals in Italian, English, or French should be sent by 1 December 2024,
to c.rassegnastudienotizie@comune.milano.it, together with a brief overview of the author’s career (max 500 characters, spaces included).
Notification of acceptance will be given by December 31, 2024.
Accepted contributions, in Italian, English, or French, should be submitted by 30 March 2025, to the same email address. Submissions must include the article in Word format (max 60,000 characters, footnotes and spaces included), images (in TIFF format, min 300 dpi, with unrestricted reproduction rights), and an abstract (max 800 characters, spaces included). Editorial guidelines will be provided upon proposal acceptance.
All submissions will receive a double-blind peer review by experts in the field. Final decision will be communicated to the author by 1 July 2025.
