Presentation
The Impressionism research team from Paris Nanterre University is pleased to invite you to the launch of the digital platform ImpressionnismeS on Wednesday 5 February from 6pm to 8pm at the Institut national d'histoire de l'art, 2 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris (métro Palais Royal or Bourse) in the Vasari room (1st floor).
A round-table discussion will bring together the programme team, contributors to the platform and partners. The presentation will be followed by a drink.
While news about Impressionism continues to abound, information about the movement is scattered and often of uneven quality. The Impressionist platform has been designed to make available the existing resources resulting from dynamic research, and to promote new, unpublished resources produced through a collaborative network.
Designed to appeal to a wide audience, both curious and specialists, it will be both a place for disseminating knowledge and a space for reflection, encouraging new approaches, topical debates and exchanges. The aim of this collaborative platform is to bring together French and international specialists, as well as all those involved in the cultural and tourist sectors who may have an interest in this living artistic heritage.
