The next Society event with Franziska Heimburger will take place on Friday 21st March at 7am EST / 12pm GMT / 1pm CET and will be focused on the Society Bibliography.

Presentation

During this event, Franziska Heimburger will share her experience in building the Society Bibliography and present this collaborative, open-source resource which brings togehter references relevant to the First World War. It now contains over 20,600 references and can help you find books, articles, and chapters - but it also offers many more possibilities thanks to Zotero's functionalities, such as sharing, citing, creating bibliographies from selected references. Last but not least, this presentation will show how the Society Bibliography can save you a lot of time, as it is also a fabulous tool for keeping up with the vast flow of publications in the field of First World War Studies.

Franziska Heimburger is currently Senior Lecturer in British History at Sorbonne Université. She currently teachs British History and IT Skills to students working towards English degrees at Sorbonne Université. During her PhD on languages in Allied coalition warfare during the First World War, she created the Society Bibliography. She also runs jointly with Emilien Ruiz: La boîte à outils des historiens.
