Social Empowerment Journal is an international, blind-double-peer-reviewed, trimestral and free of charge, open-access academic journal, published by the Laboratory of Social Empowerment and Sustainable Development in the Desert Environment, the Faculty of Social Sciences – University Amar Telidji of Laghouat, Algeria. The journal focuses on topics related to Humanities, Social and economic Sciences. All papers around the world are very welcome to publish their work in our Journal.

Presentation

The editorial board of the Social Empowerment Journal, issued by the Laboratory of Social Empowerment and Sustainable Development in the Desert Environment at the University Amar Telidji of Laghouat, Algeria, is pleased to invite all researchers wishing to publish their scientific research in English in Volume: 07- Issue: 01 - March 2025, to send their papers from January 07 to March 05, 2025.

The main objective of Social Empowerment Journal is to contribute significantly to the body of knowledge by providing an intellectual platform for national and international scholars including postgraduate students, professors, and researchers operating in academic circles, government departments or socio-economic institutions.

How to submit ?

Social Empowerment Journal does not charge any submission or publication fees. No fees are incurred for article processing, submission, neither for reviewing.

Authors need to register with ASJP (Algerian Scientific Journal platform) prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in.

Deadline for submission: March 05, 2025.

Publishing Conditions

1. The necessity of adhering to the article template, in order to unify articles according to a unified methodological model. Researchers can obtain the template model from the Algerian Scientific Journal Platform.

2. Only single, double and triple-authored articles are accepted.

Evaluation of the Article

After receiving the articles, the editor-in-chief will ascertain of the format compliance. If articles comply with publishing format, they will be sent to reviewers from different institutions than the author with blinded authorship through associate editors. Articles that are incoherent with required format will be declined, and their authors will be notified, with one last chance to make format adjustments.

The Journal of Social Empowerment has a large group of the journal's editorial team from different regions (Europe-Africa-Asia) and from various scientific disciplines serving the fields of publishing in the journal, perform a blind review of every single submitted manuscript on the basis of a set of criteria, among which originality, timeliness, interest, and importance of the topic, proper language, and relevance to the journal’s readership (see evaluation grid).

In case of rejection of the manuscript, the editor-in-chief will inform the author of the decision of the editorial team via the platform by sending a letter explaining the reasons for the rejection. The author can submit his paper by taking into account the received feedback.

If the article is accepted for evaluation, it will be sent by the editor-in-chief directly for arbitration or sent to one of the assistant editors who, in turn, will send it to two expert reviewers. Reviewers are sent the report anonymously and are required to meet a maximum deadline of 20 days to forward their reports to the editor-in-chief. In the event of an emergency that may extend the deadline, the reviewer is expected to send an early notice to the editor-in-chief.
