Abstract

The aim of the Swiss Mobility Conference is to provide a collaborative platform for researchers in the humanities and social sciences working on various aspects of mobility.

We are happy to invite you to the 8th edition of the Swiss Mobility Conference (SMC), that will take place on Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 September, at the EPFL.

The objective of SMC is to provide a place for discussion and debate for researchers in humanities and social sciences working on various forms of mobility.

This edition will welcome two Keynotes : Eva Heinen (Prof. of Transportation and Mobility Planning, ETH, CH) and Daniel Reck (Mobility Development Manager, Transports Publics Genevois (TPG), CH).

This year, the Swiss Mobility Conference will be made of 6 sessions:

  1. Modal preferences [FR]

  2. Action research [ENG]

  3. Mobility Transition [FR/ENG]

  4. Mobility Justice [ENG]

  5. Lifestyles and mobility practices [FR/ENG]

  6. Work and constrained mobilities [FR/ENG]
