Abstract
This conference aims to explore the history of students through their regional, religious, national and international organisations in the second half of the twentieth century. The aim is to examine the student agency through the analysis of their social profile, the forms of material or symbolic compensation for their commitment, and the circulation of knowledge about the economic and social situation of the students.

14.15-14.30 Conclusions
The exhibition Student Internationalism, prepared by the members of the SNSF project “From Student Internationalism to Erasmus. Globalisation and Europeanisation of Student Life since 1945”, will be opened at the University of Fribourg on 17 November, International Student Day, and will remain on campus until 5 December.
The exhibition aims to connect students across several generations. It approaches students’ lives and activities outside the classroom through their visual cultures, such as posters, magazine covers, catalogues, and photographs. The inauguration and the commented visit will take place on 20 November at 14.00
