Résumé

The city of Arcos de Valdevez is committed to the achievement of the 3rd International Conference under the theme « Manor House: A Heritage for the Future », to be held in Arcos de Valdevez days 2, 3 and 4 December 2011.

Presentation

The structure of the Congress is based on four areas of focus:

  • Historical Memory
    • Family History,
    • Genealogy and Heraldry;
  • Archives and Family Documentation;
  • Heritage;
    • Research,
    • Protection and Enhancement;
  • Tourism and Regional Development;
    • Public Policy
    • Territorial Marketing
    • Resources and Tourist Destinations.

The abstract summary should observe the following rules:

  • Text Editor "Word", Times New Roman 12, justified, and no paragraphs with 1.5;
  • Title in capital letters, centered, bold, size 14;
  • Place under the title the last name of author(s);
  • Maximum length 350 words on A4 paper, margins of 2.5 cm.

The abstract summary should be sent in digital support to: casanobre@cmav.pt until 15th of April  2011, with reference to the area of focus of the Congress to which it belongs.

Notification of Abstract summary acceptance shall be communicated to authors from April 18th, 2011.

The abstract for publication should be sent until 30 November 2011. The rules for submission of abstracts for publication can be consulted on the website of Noble House Congress.
