2° Interdisciplinary Forum : YOUNG RESEARCHERS DEAL WITH THE ALPS OF TOMORROW, Turin, May 24th and 25th 2012
Presentation
Dislivelli Association is pleased to announce the second edition of the Interdisciplinary Forum of Young Researchers about the issue the Alps of tomorrow. The Forum is organized by Dislivelli Association in collaboration with Interateneo Territorio Department of Polythecnic of Turin and Scienze dell’Educazione e della Formazione Department of University of Turin, with the support of the Permanent Secretariat of Alpine Convention and the Province of Turin.
This biennial Forum aims at giving to the new generation of researchers the chance to meet up, to divulge their researches on the alpine territory and to discuss the emerging issues of contemporary Alps.
The second edition of the Forum will be opened to researchers that come from every part of alpine area.
Three issues will be specially treated:
- Projects fostering sustainable development in the Alps
- Development and implementation of alpine specific policies
- Demographic changes and new populations in alpine territories
Submissions
The deadline for submission proposals is February 15th 2012.
Submitters are asked to provide:
- a) title of the paper;
- b) list of contributing authors and their institutions;
- c) e-mail address;
- d) abstract in Italian or English (max 2000 characters).
Submissions must be send to Federica Corrado (federica.corrado@polito.it) and Valentina Porcellana (valentina.porcellana@unito.it). The accepted abstracts will be published on the website www.dislivelli.eu.
- All accepted submitters will be notified at their indicated e-mail address by March 15th 2012.
- The Forum will take place in Turin on May 24th and 25th 2012.
- The participation to the Forum is free. Contributions can be presented in Italian or English. A selection of papers will be published.
