Este evento visa estimular a investigação e a divulgação do conhecimento científico nas áreas do Turismo, do Lazer e da Gestão Turística, incentivando as abordagens inter-disciplinares e comparativas.

Presentation

The School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of the Algarve and the Tourism & Management Studies Journal are organizing the TMS ALGARVE 2013 - INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TOURISM & MANAGEMENT STUDIES, which will be held on the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th of November 2013. This conference will focus on a wide variety of topics related to Tourism studies and Tourism and Hospitality Management. It aims to stimulate research and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the areas of Tourism and Leisure Studies, as well as Tourism and Hospitality Management, encouraging inter-disciplinary and comparative approaches. It is also our aim to provide a platform for stimulating inter-disciplinary discussions in the above mentioned areas, enhancing knowledge and experience and promoting scholarly cooperation and collaborative work among researchers from all over the world.

This conference will focus on the following topics, which will be held as Symposiums or Special Sessions:

Author Guidelines

Deadline for Abstract (up to 250 words + 5 keywords) or paper submission (up to 6000 words + 5 keywords) is June 15, 2013.

Abstracts or Papers (one of the two is mandatory) may be written in one of the following languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Papers should not exceed 6000 words (Microsoft Word format, font Garamond 11, spacing 1.15) including References. Each paper must include a short abstract of up to 150 words and 5 keywords in its original language. If its original language is Portuguese or Spanish it must include also an abstract and keywords in English.
