Abstract

Trata-se de um evento oficial do Dia Europeu do Mar. Pretende-se analisar a relevância do mar no Direito europeu e, em particular, a importância da política marítima europeia no seu desenvolvimento e as questões relativas à sua aplicação. 

Announcement

This is an official eventof the European Dayof the Sea. It intended toanalyzethe relevanceof the seainEuropean lawand, in particular, the importanceof European maritime policyin its developmentand issues relatedto its application. The program includes, mainly,the following aspects:

  • The universality and generality of UNCLOS and the European Law of the Sea;
  • The Erika, Prestige and levoli Sun cases and the development of European Law of the Sea;
  • The Integrated Maritime Policy of the European Union and the Portuguese Maritime Policy;
  • Sustainable growth of the maritime economyand the European funding instruments for 2014-2020;
  • Sustainable growth of the maritime economy and energy resources;
  •  Sustainable growth of the maritime economyand marine resources;
  • Maritime spatial planning and integrated coastal zone management.
