Résumé
In May 2015 the Philosophy of Social Science Roundtable will meet jointly with the European Network for the Philosophy of the Social Sciences. This will be the second joint meeting of the Roundtable and ENPOSS, and will continue a tradition of working conferences that brings together philosophers and social scientists to discuss a wide range of philosophical issues raised in and by social research. This joint meeting will be hosted by Alison Wylie in Seattle.

Argumentaire
Au mois de Mai 2015, les réseaux « Philosophy of Social Science Roundtable » et « European Network for the Philosophy of the Social Sciences » organisent ensemble un colloque à Seattle. Ce sera le second colloque ainsi co-organisé entre européens et américains (le premier était à Venise en 2013). Le colloque de Seattle s'inscrit dans une tradition de colloques, ateliers et workshops dont la vocation est de permettre à des philosophes et chercheurs en sciences sociales discuter ensemble sur des problèmes philosophiques divers et variés qui se posent au sein même des sciences sociales.
Le colloque de Seattle est organisé par Alison Wylie.
Modalités de soumission
Les abstracts (exclusivement en anglais) peuvent concerner des communications individuelles (800-1000 mots) ou des symposiums thématiques (400-500 mots). Ils doivent être envoyés en utilisant le système EasyChair.
Avant le 15 décembre 2014.
Les organisateurs pensent être en mesure de fournir une aide financière de 500 US dollars à un petit nombre de postulants (étudiants ou jeunes chercheurs) sélectionnés.
