Abstract

The Third Spanish Conference on the Sociology of Food will take place in Gijón (Asturias) on the 27 and 28 September 2018. The event is part of the activities of the Research Committees (CI) of the Spanish Federation of Sociology (FES), which includes the Sociology of Food Research Committee. This group brings together researchers into food and eating at the intersection of health, culture, consumption, policy, and agricultural systems.

WG7: Students Working Group

Coordinated by:

  • What does the Students Working Group consist of? This working group aims to promote the participation of students from different scientific fields in the Congress (Sociology, Anthropology, Medicine, Nursing, Marketing and Social Work).

The main objective is to involve them and facilitating their learning. This is achieved through the sharing of knowledge between colleagues and researchers of recognized prestige.

The WG seeks to encourage the participation of students in aspects related to food. In addition, other training activities will be carried out in order to offer useful tools for the completion of Final Degree Projects, Final Master's Dissertation or Doctoral Theses.
