Cet événement célèbre le vingtième anniversaire d'un ouvrage majeur des Science and Technology Studies, paru aux MIT Press en 1999, et accompagne un projet de traduction française. Cette journée a été organisée en étroite collaboration avec Geoffrey C. Bowker, qui sera présent, aux côtés d’intervenants ayant contribué à diffuser les travaux qu'il a menés avec Susan Leigh Star.

Présentation

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer la tenue d’une conférence internationale intitulée « A book defying classification : Sorting Things Out’s legacy, 20 years after » qui aura lieu le 13 décembre 2019 en Sorbonne. L’événement célèbre le vingtième anniversaire d'un ouvrage majeur des Science and Technology Studies, paru aux MIT Press en 1999, et accompagne un projet de traduction française. Cette journée a été organisée en étroite collaboration avec Geoffrey C. Bowker, qui sera présent, aux côtés d’intervenants ayant contribué à diffuser les travaux qu'il a menés avec Susan Leigh Star.

La conférence aura lieu toute la journée du 13 décembre, dans l'amphithéâtre Durkheim de la Sorbonne. Entrée par la rue Cujas, 75005 Paris.
