Argument

Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the overall human life. This health problem has brought man to death fatality and made him run imminent environmental risks. Moreover, the coronavirus pandemic has created chaos in life and uncertainty in the future. To cope with the rise and progress of this heath problem, it is important to question its impacts on humans’ ethical and moral aspects. This is because the coronavirus is a crisis of existence, co-existence, risk perception, life during confinement, life with virus (es), stress management, social distancing, economic and socio-cultural crisis, crisis management, precariousness and exclusion during the crisis, to name just a few.

In this respect, research studies on human and social sciences are essential as they help understand how crises affect human societies. The significance of such studies lies in the fact that they are rich in analyses and instructions concerning change management and implementation of strategies, namely sanitary ones, with an objective to have control over future epidemics and organize the human life with all its aspects.

In light of the above, this conference provides opportunities for contributions from human and social sciences studies dealing with health crises, more particularly Covid-19 in the world. In addition, following an interdisciplinary approach where different human and social sciences fields intersect, the conference can also be considered as an opportunity for participants to put into question, analyze, and explain the current and future context.

Contributions from all disciplines are welcome in English, Arabic and French
