Based on the concepts and methods of the philosopher Jacques Rancière, we propose to conceive the process of gentrification as a scene of sharing and disagreement. Scene on which the paradox of a forced access to housing and a shared occupation of public space occurs. Three terms of the conceptual landscape of Jacques Rancière help us to circumscribe the scene of the disagreement of gentrification, as the partition of sensible, the equality of intelligence and the dissensus.

En s’appuyant, sur les concepts et les méthodes du philosophe Jacques Rancière, la proposition consiste à concevoir le processus de gentrification comme une scène partage et de mésentente. Scène sur laquelle se produit le paradoxe d’un accès contraint au logement et d’une occupation partagée de l’espace public. Trois termes du paysage conceptuel de Jacques Rancière nous aide à circonscrire la scène de la mésentente de gentrification, soit le partage de sensible, l’égalité des intelligences et le dissensus.
